Getting together with other Reiki people to share experiences, swap treatments and to learn from one another is a chance many of us rarely get. The annual Reiki trip to Eygpt is a great way to meet likeminded Reiki people, whilst exploring the inherent energies that still remain as strong as ever in the ancient and sacred sites of Egypt.
Everyone needs a good holiday from time to time, and this trip will give you the opportunity to chill out and flop at a wonderful hotel with many facilities in a peaceful location on the banks of the River Nile, as well as to experience all the exciting excursions that are on offer.
We're extremely lucky to have Khaled Helmy, the Chief Inspector at Karnak Temple, as our guide during our visits. Khaled's work usually involves digging - he even discovered a new (ancient!) tomb in the peaceful Valley of the Nobles on Luxor's West Bank, and will be doing archaeological work there in the coming months. His colleagues and friends are based throughout Egypt at its many temples, tombs and quarries, and some of them are currently work with the Discovery Channel making programmes about Egyptian archaeology. Khaled is himself attuned to Reiki and is passionate about sharing his expert knowledge about ancient Egypt and its energy hotspots.
We even flew to Cairo for the day to visit the famous Pyramids at Giza, the enigmatic Sphinx, and also the Egyptian Museum - home to the treasures of King Tutankhamun and much more. On our most recent trip, some of the group entered the Great Pyramid and were able to lay in the sarcophagus.
I offer Reiki empowerments / attunements at various places along the way, as well as leading group meditations using Reiki as our focus. We will be doing distant healing work as well, and developing our Reiki skills and working with the energy.
